Module 1 Wound Care- Suturing: 3.5 hrs 3.5 CEU

  • Minor Laceration Care with Adhesives, Staples, Sutures

  • Local Anesthesia and Digital Blocks

  • Incision and Drainage of Abscesses

  • Finger and Toe Procedures (e.g. Paronychia, Trephination)

Module 2 ENT Foreign Bodies and More: 2.5 hrs 2.75 CEU

  • Diagnosis and Management of Dizziness/BPPV- Dix Hallpike, Epley Half Somersault Maneuvers -

  • Corneal Abrasions and Fluorescein Examinations

  • Foreign Body Removal (e.g. Fishhooks and Splinters)

  • Reduction of Nursemaid’s Elbow

  • Excision Thrombosed Hemorrhoid

Expert Musculoskeletal Exam for Urgent/Primary Care: 3.5 hrs 3.5 CEU

  • Expert exam of shoulder including provocative measures

  • Expert exam of knee including key components of history, diagnostic studies

  • Expert Exam of ankle, including key components of history, provocative maneuvers

  • Concepts of splinting with charts, access to splinting manual

  • Question and Answer for any other musculoskeletal concern
